Antique Jewellery Remodelling

Do you have treasured pieces of jewellery gathering dust because you no longer wear them? Maybe they're no longer fashionable and you just don't know what to do with them. Have you ever considered that they could be transformed into fabulous wearable pieces of jewellery once more?

Brooches are common jewellery items that are no longer worn but these can often be remodelled into a pendant for example, a ring or even a pair of earrings, depending on the style of the original piece.

David welcomes enquiries via phone or email but inevitably he must see the jewellery for himself before making any decisions or recommendations. Clients are welcome to send him any pieces for appraisal via registered post as long as a post satchel is included for return postage.*

Take a look at some examples of David's work in antique jewellery remodelling.

Georgian Brooch: When David removed the bar and pin from the back of this gold, turquoise and diamond brooch it turned out to have been made originally as a ring almost 200 years ago. Dave replaced the grotty looking stone that was allegedly a diamond with a beautiful old cut diamond in keeping with the period of the piece. Once he'd fitted a gold shank, this gorgeous ring was completed - and sold within a fortnight!
